Official Episode Description ( aired Oct 19, 2005 ) A GLOBAL WARMING STATE OF EMERGENCY is declared in South Park. Global Warming is determined to be the cause of the massive flood that destroys a neighboring town. The world’s largest beaver dam breaks and the waters overtake the adjacent town of Beaverton.. As the victims wait for help to arrive, everyone in South Park tackles priority number one: who is to blame? The President, the mayor, scientists, the press and even the flood victims themselves are all busy pointing fingers. Only Stan and Cartman know who’s really at fault..
:- That was GREAT! Maybe the delay of summer had me a little more hyped-up than normal, but a fine start for Season 9 - Part II.
This was so good, I am watching it again at 12:30am tonight. Already spotted a BLOOPER, the preview pic above was changed and Kenny was taken out.
"I broke the dam!" )~ |
Obvious spoof on Katrina & Rita hurricane situations. Flooding of New Orleans, taking long to rescue, traffic jams, finger-pointing of blame, etc...
Stan & Cartman were at a new place, JEFFERSON LAKE RECREATION AREA playing in speedboat named, ROYS ROYCE.
For the first time ever, we see Stan & Cartman's hair while they wear their hats.
Beaverton has population of 8,000 but Reporter reports they expect "hundreds of millions" dead.
The Reporter in Chicago says there are "600 million" people living there but USA population is about 250 million.
Everybody moved into PARK COUNTY COMMUNITY CENTER, except Kenny's family. [ were they bused out-of-state ]
There was one guy with shopping cart full of beer, much like the infamous one seen in New Orleans. { looting is bad, M-kay! }
When scamps tried to rescue Beaverton residents, they crashed into BEAVERTON OIL
This was the first time they did extensive water reflections. The animators had to do twice the work for when they talked.
Hmm, they did floor reflections in Super Friends episode but did they do water reflections in the David Blaine one?
Remember, they were looking for bald-Kenny in the water at Washington D.C.
Ironicly, the boat scenes remind me of a song by Audioslave called "Doesn't Remind Me", with the lyrics, *...I like driving backwards in the fog...*

WHOOPs
The early release snapshot showing Stan, Cartman & Kenny in the boat is wrong. I am guessing Kenny couldn't be there or
the Episode Description would've had to change to say, ...Only San, Cartman & Kenny know... It was probably easier to take
him out of boat at the last minute.
Stan & Cartman are in ROYS ROYCE playing "Miami Vice", and can see 2 boats, a white and brown one parked directly behind them.
The first person that gets hit with Global Warming is in middle of crowd of people running down Main Street.
The payphone that Stan was using inside Beaverton Oil had blank key for where * 'star' should be.
( which shows you how cheap Oil Companies are, charging employees for phone calls ) +
In News
When Stan drives the ROYCE out of marina, they somehow squeeze between those two boats. The ROYCE screams past a building, BEAVER BAIT & TACKLE.
Shouldn't that be BEAVERTON BAIT & TACKLE or is it a shop for beaver hunters?
When he falls to ground, there is nobody else around, as if he was last person in crowd. He shakes, moans loudly and dies?
Well, poor acting on his part, he opened his eye before scene cut.
There were 2 *~BLEEPs~*
